We provide clear information to our clients regarding our solutions, such as drawings, reports, specifications, material lists, sketches or other required documentation. We ensure the client´s satisfaction prior of project completion.
Structural Analysis
We perform static and dynamic structural calculations for load bearing constructions, crane foundations, engine foundation, etc, either for Class approval or for ensuring the quality of the design and the long-term reliability of the equipment. When required, we perform finite element method (FEM) analyses to calculate the global stresses and forces in an existing or new structure. In addition, we provide calculations for the assessment of reinforcements and conversions in marine constructions. Results based solutions and recommendations are then provided to our clients based on these findings.
Ship Operation Optimization
Hauschildt Marine A/S has developed tools to improve the vessel´s operation. These tools are based on our many years of knowladge and experience. Trim optimization and the propeller pitch are examples on what can be improved to save fuel when the ship is sailing.
Fuel Optimization
Many of our projects are focused on the environmental impact and fuel reduction. One example of such project resulted in the Frugal Propulsion system, which has already been installed on several vessels. With fuel savings between 10%-25%.Frugal Propulsion is an on-top system that integrates with the existing propulsion control system (PCS) onboard a vessel.
